Weekend Activities

Assalamualaikum.

Nowadays, when I looked at my circles of friends, I noticed that almost everyone have move on to next phase of their life. Build a family.

I'm happy for everyone, really. Eventhough sometimes there some eeney, minee, tiny little sense of jealousy. You know, when your friend attached with someone else, they don't really have time to spend with you. *sadface.jpg*

So, happen to be at my office there are another 'bujang girl' and share the same interest with me. so we have made a plan to hang out together last weekend.

You guys know where we've been last weekend?

Nahhh, enough for guessing.

My friend and I went to climb Broga Hill near at Semenyeh.

Suppose to be there will be some photos of us when we're up there, but my external hard disk are being funny, so, I lost ALL the photos.  I hope my friend still have them, and later on I can share with you.

We brought some props along with us and the bag are heavy. So, when we wanted to climb the first peak, there was one gentleman, that kind enough to offer his hand and help us to bring our stuff. We also met some nice people up there. Being shy my, I just able to smile and laugh along with their stories and jokes.

And we unable to continue to the next peak though as we're too tired. So we just took some nice spot ant be ready to take some shots of photo.

It's really nice. The view up there. It's breathtaking. Be sure to follow my Instagram to view the photo captured from my semakness phone.

At night, my friend took me to Restoran Pelita, Subang to have some taste on the restaurant's sup tulang/daging/kambing are super duper awesome. I am literally craving for it again right now. Perh!

And so, for the next day my friend took me to the Taman Putrajaya, and yes with some props to capture the beautiful view there. I really like the landscape of the lake near the Pullman Hotel. It's really, really nice man. Ohh, I wish my home in future will have such a beautiful landscape like that.

On the evening, there some couples of newly wed or newly engaged that took sweet momento of them  beside the lake.

Ohh, I love how people taking their wedding photos. Almost make me tear as well. HAHA!

So...

What's on my mind. When being forced to be a model.

eat.pray.love. I'm the expert of the number 1.

Yes, my tak-ikhlas's face. HAHA!

Thank you Wawa for your kindness. Only Allah will, and He certainly will repay your good deeds. Thank you so much for these nice momento. I love you.

So,  what your stories?

Buenanott. :)

ATV Adventure

Assalamualaikum, how are you guys doing? I hope everyone are doing fine. ;)

So, how's your weekend? Well, I'm going to brag about mine. HAHA!

Being young, energetic and adventurous me, lead me to another adventure in Perak. I actually planned this from last year to go there, but since there are some constraints (time and budget), I have o postponed this plan. So, finally...!

I'd arrived to Kuala Kangsar, Perak form Kuala Lumpur at 2 pm something, and Hanum picked me up. She took me for lunch as my stomach was empty. It's because of my habit that I won't eat or drink anything before I took off if I were going somewhere by bus. I'd afraid I need to go to the loo in the middle of somewhere that unknown. Gitu.

After lunch and perform our prayer, we went to the ATV, Jalan Bukit Larut. Finally, JYEAHH!

I was so excited, and in the same time afraid too because I don't know whether I can manage to ride the ATV.

So, the instructor teach us about the gear, break, and how to turn on the engine if it suddenly stop. After make sure that all of us understand, he take us for a trial ride. At first Hanum was at behind him, and after he saw how clumsy and weak I was, he told me to ride right behind his motorcycle.

After the second round, he brought us to the real trail. He did warn us that the trail slope might exceed 45 degree up and down. My heart beat even more faster. And I thought, I AM SO DEAD! For a second, I don't think I can make it out. T^T

So, we started. The trail are totally rough and tough. I felt like I'd almost terbalik all of the time. I wonder how Hanum done it so smooth.

It turn out so well and fun. I certainly have no regret. And definitely will try it again if have any chances.

I looked awesome am I? I know. HAHA!

I wore the safety helmet in the wrong way. Duhh.. --"

Almost forgetting, there are nice river flowing at the end of the trail. The instructor gave us some minutes to took some photos and rest before we heading back to the camp.

So, after an hour spend on riding ATV, we decided to get some food to eat as we're all are hungry. We agreed to eat some Yong Tau Fu first, because we were gong to eat Ketam Lembut/Sof Crabs after that.

The foods are awesome, I tell you. You guys should try the soft crabs at Kuala Gula. I never knew, in my entire life, there were some species of crabs that so soft. You don't have actually to peel (?) the skin, because the skin so lembut. And it so sweet and my mouth are literally watery when I think about those sweet, soft crabs.

The scenery. Subhanallah. The food, alhamdulillah.

The next day, Hanum took me to Pasar Karat at Ipoh for sight seeing. The place are incredible amazing because that's the place people buy and sell so-called ancient and antique stuff. Some of the stuff I never see it before. And I was like, very cool liao!

This bought by Hanum's boyfriend at the price RM25 only. If I'm not mistaken.

Well, I'm not buying anything. I do fancy antique stuff, but to buy the, I have to think through because I'm not the kind of person that can keep things well maintain. :3

Again, after that they took me to get some lunch before I'm off back to Kuala Lumpur, because my ticket are at 12pm. Well, the lunch were awesome to. :)

Rojak Bellamy (this one is at KL), Nasi Ganja, Yong Tau Fu.
What I call, Heaven on earth. HAHA!

Perak have been nice to me, and I certainly will be back again to this beautiful state.

And Hanum, thank your for your hospitality and everything. You and your family are being such a welcoming and good hosts.

So, how about your weekend?

Till then, adios amigo!

Skytrex Adventure

Assalamualaikum, and good evening everyone. (I wrote this at 7.41pm)

Do you know about Skytrex Adventure? Well, I didn't know either at the first place. Being young (eh hem..) and energetic me, I did Google "extreme outdoor Kuala Lumpur", and TADAAAAA... Skytrex Adventure appeared. But the location aren't really at Kuala Lumpur though.

So I asked my friend whether she is up to it, and she said yes. Then I told her to manage this activity for us.

We did booking for this activity thru online as advised. We chose the hardest one, the activities that pump out our adrenaline, the extreme challenge. Extreme challenge consists 34 of challenges, with some platforms reaching the height of the 22 meter.

We arrived Shah Alam yesterday, in a group of 13 persons.

Oh, in before, this entry will have no photos of us from the activities as I waited from the others the photo and I will update the photos (if any) in another post.

We arrived, and we have to sign some form for emergency contact if anything happen to us during the activities. Then we have to wear the harness for safety reason lah of course. HAHA!

After all done with the harness, we've been taken to a instructor to brief to us about how to use the pulley and carrot-something (I don't know how to spell it. Sorry.) that attached together with the harness. He did tell us the rules, the do and don't.  And then, he told us to try first.

It's raining though in the middle of briefing. Heavy raining and we stop first.

We waited like an hour plus, before we resumed.

After finish the training, then start our first challenge. We have to climb up a 14 meters height ladder. I told you guys, your hand must be strong if you want to climb the ladder. My hand are aching right know when I typing this post. (--")

And we start the flying fox. Quite high, and quite far you know. I did not really know how to landing for the flying fox you know, so, I can't really manage to slow down a bit, so my hand are bruising right now. T^T

After some challenges, one by one of our members have surrender. At some point I want to surrender to, but I will not waste my RM50. HAHA! And I wanted to finish it. And yes, I did, after like 3 hours.

If you seek out an adventure, I totally recommend this and the fees are affordable too.

And I'm planning to go there again. Certainly.

I wish they have some photographers up there that took photos of us candidly, as we can't bring our phone and camera up there (well, you can bring it of course but I wouldn't risk it).

So, how is you weekend?

Ohh, it's Monday tomorrow. Good Luck and happy working.

The Sweet Escape.

Assalamualaikum.

Someone have been missing me, I guess. Because I haven't write anything for days, and I take a look at my statistic review, well, there always someone came and visit my blog. It's either happy or creepy or both at the same time. Because either I have some loyal readers or lunatic stalkers. HAHAHA!

 Hello there, enjoy your reading.

So, I've been busy for pass (or past?) these days (same sentence over and over again). Last Saturday I was helping my friend to move over to her new house and went to the PC fair. Nothing much to brag about that PC fair. Just doing some sight-seeing and boyfriend hunting.

Things have happened in my life, and I stressed out. And it's been a coincidence that my friend asked me out on Tuesday as it was a public holiday for those who works at the state of Selangor. She asked me if I interested to go and do some climbing. And of course, I say YES!

We went to FRIM (Forest Research Institute of Malaysia). We have to pay RM 6 (RM 4 for car and each person RM 1) before enter, as we are too lazy to park our car outside.

This is me, took some rest after the climbing. They have mini waterfall there. It is really nice to have a break, and of course, your photo taken candidly. WOHOHO! Feels like a model. Puihh!

It is quite nice actually to be close to nature some time after everyday you have to face machines and unpredictable humans. I felt very calm and I have fun there. I hope I will find some time to come again here.

If possible, can you recommend me some nice place to go nearby Kuala Lumpur or Selangor? I plan to have a day out once a month. You know, to keep me sane, and well-balance.

There was a staff meeting earlier at my office, about our company trip for next year. Since I'm new, so I unable to join to Dongbei, Northeast China, where weather there are mostly down to minus 23. Most of the staff are complaining because they know they can't cope with the damn cold weather, but I wonder if my big boss will change his idea. Still, I hope I can join them though. I don't think that I will go there by myself, because I'm not that brave. But if I have some company, why not?

But, you know what? In my dream. HAHAHA!

Sometimes, when I got back home from a hectic working day, I just wish to get married to some man with money and he can afford to take me to everywhere that I want.

But, again... In my dream. I know.

"I'm not crazy, I'm just a little impaired. I know right now you don't care. But soon enough you're gonna think of me, and how I used to be...me"

Thanks for reading, I'll write more in future. Good night.

p/s: do you ever wonder that my writing always anti climax?

WDD 2012

Assalamualaikum, and hi.

Fuhhh, today was a very hectic day for me. As I wrote earlier on my previous entry, I have join a walkathon for World Diabetes Day. I was fun, and I have my first experience, walk with strangers. HAHA!

I was late actually, and Kak Huda keep calling me. But lucky me, Julie and her brother willing to fetch me at my house. When we arrived, the event almost are almost start. The three of us are "kelam-kabut", but somehow managed to took some photo at the starting point. Kak Huda also managed to upload it on Facebook immediately after that. HAHA!

With Kak Huda

With Julie

Obviously, I'm looking like women older than my actual age. Arghhh!!!

When it started, Julie left us behind and just walk ahead and never turn back. I tried to chased her thou, but I can't find her. And I left Kak Huda behind, I forgot that her leg have been injured. --"

Luckily, we've managed to get to the finish line, safely. YEAH!!!

After that Julie and I go to some booth and do some medical check up.

I may be skinny, but I have a big butt. T^T

My blood pressure reading are 84 something, and I nearly collapse when queuing for the medical check up. Lucky me, that Julie around. I hold on to her when I almost blackout. She keep asking me whether I was okay, but in me head I kept telling my self that I CAN'T COLLAPSE, because it will be embarrassing moment for me. I managed to sit, and some paramedic and Julie took me to a tent specially for emergency. I lie down for a moment and they gave some salt water. After that, when I can get up, and stand for a while, they let me go. Thanks a lot Julie, for being there, or else I think right now I'm not be able to write and tell the story about this right now.

And this is the second time I almost collapse, the first time happened during Eid Adha.

Ohh, I am such a weak person. I have to eat something to increase my blood pressure. But Julie told me that I have to eat some internal organ, which I hardly can eat. Bleargh...

Till then, I'll write more often. Take care and have a healthy lifestyle guys.

Bye.

Three In One

Assalamualaikum, and hi.

Today have been a hectic day for me. Yes it's Saturday and I suppose to get some rest or probably enjoying myself, but early in the morning I have to went to driving school and practice how to motor cycling and drive car. There is nothing much in motorcycling, but when it comes to driving the car, my whole body is sweating, and my hands are aching. Blerghh...

But the awesome moment is, the trainer gave him permission to drive the car from Batu 9 until Flat Sri Sabah (it's about half hour of driving). I am, however, can overcome my fear on the road, and manage to drive very well with the traffic congestion. At some point, my left leg felt almost numb, in order to control the clutch. Well, I did arrive safe and sound, aite?

Told you that I am a fast learner. Okay, maybe a little bit of low self confidence. *fliphair

Okay.

There have been a wedding ceremony at our place, the host is my father's friend. It's his daughter who get married. I told my father to go, well because this friend of him helped us a lot. So, it wouldn't be nice if we are not going, aite?

So, we went there, and my father and his friend have a little chat.

Friend: "It's so kind of you to come here, despite of your condition." (note: my father was attacked by stroke before, so his condition is not very well.)

Father: "If it not because of her (pointing at me), I can't manage come. I can't even see the road which I taking. Thank God that she's around."

Friend: "You're lucky to have such an obedient daughter, willing to take you anywhere."

Father: "Speaking of, now she is taking class at driving school. So later on, I don't have to bother you."

Friend: "Please don't talk like that, you never been such a troublesome for me. But it's good though, although in your condition like this, your children never leaves you."

Father: "Ohh, they will someday. Especially this one (me). Someday she will marry someone, and have to follow her husband. None will stay, when they have their own family."

Friend: "Don't talk like that, maybe she will find you someone to take good care for you."

Father: "She also have a tough time to find her soul mate, where got time to help me find one for me?"

And both laughing hard. And I was like... aren't there any other things to chat about? Duhh...

It's is nice you know, when you know that you can take care of your parent, and people around recognized and believe you can manage it well.

But the thing is, my father and I always have our own thought which we hardly agree with each other. We fight, and I always said awful things to him when I angry. And every time after that, I always get upset of myself because not being able to control my anger.

The expectation from others, that I am a good and nice girl, an obedient daughter sometimes burden me a lot, because I know I am not like that. But father always says that he proud to have us as his children. Although none of us are really, really the obedient type.

Father and I.
Photo taken around 2008/2009 when he in his best health condition.

I don't live with others' expectation, but I know that my father know that I am trying my best.

Okay, next.

10 years ago, he came to our life and bright us up. He was born with Down Syndrome, not mentally perfect, but yet we never tired to spare our love to him. As you love him, he will love you more. He's growing up without me by his side actually, despite on his condition, he never forget that I am his sister and always greet me with love whenever I'm coming home.

Now, although that he is 10 now, and barely can speak the exact words or sentence. But he manage to get himself to eat on his own, to go to toilet without any assistance, and turn on TV and switch to his favorite channel as he want.

And I thank to Allah, for giving me and my family this priceless gift, and we couldn't ask for more. I think without him in this family, we're a little bit dying inside and become more soul-less.

 With his older brother

Happy 10th birthday.

That's the three stories of today, have a nice weekend I will keep you posted about my activity tomorrow. In case if anybody interested.

Bye.

Walkathon.

Good day everyone! May Allah bless us in everything we do today. ;)

Okay folks, yesterday I have received an email from my colleague about one event for diabetes awareness. Remember my last post? About how I want to make my life more worth it? So I decided to take part on this event.

It's actually have two part which are 5km of walkathon and 10km of run. Both held on the same day, same place. 11th November (2012) at Dataran Merdeka.

As I'm not that athlete kind of person, so I just choose to only walk(athon). BAHAHA! I may look skinny, but I have a big butt, which heavy. Therefore, I better walk for this beginning. (--,)"

I'm not aiming for winning of course, there must be a lot of pros. Meet new people and make new friends is the idea actually. I guest this is the right platform to start with.

So, come on quick and register as they open to 5,000 participants only.

See you when I see you. Bye!
